10 Songs To Launch To

Yesterday I asked Gabe Chan to put together a new mix for the site. Gabe grew up skating in the 80s and fully lived and embraced the jump ramp culture of the era. His theme is “10 Songs to launch to”. He said “I chose these because that’s what I remember hearing the older dudes play from the garage during the launch ramp sessions”. Channel your inner Jeff Pettit and Ray Simmonds, break out a ladder, and BLAST!

Proto Gary

Some amount of years back, Gabe Chan made a skate movie called “Gary”.  Previous to “Gary”, there was also a “Proto Gary” film also called “Gary” which was never released.  In “Proto Gary” Russ Clark and I shared a painful part to Haircut 100 “Love Plus One”.  This part is presented below.  Watch only if you’re a fan of “Gary”, “Beez”, “Lemon Fire Brigade”, “Sax Solos”, otherwise disregard.

In the Beez Reality Timeline, these clips would bookend right against Beez 3.
