In no particular order:
Tim Olson – FS Wallride
TJ Bohach – Upwards crook…
…and Frontwards Crook.
Ollie.
Ever since its facelift this quarter has become a hotspot. Possibly because you can hear U2 covers from summerfest here… for free. Maybe even Kid Rock if your timing’s right. Max Murphy – FS nose.
Can I get an Amen?
Matt Nordness: #1 spiked fence fan. The sharper the better.
He’s probably also #1 fan of this spot. BS Lipslide.
Cones are the number one pick-me-up when the arm of the law reaches out and slaps you on the wrist. Fight the power.

Weekend update.
We usually had just wedged this piece of rebar behind a little sapling by the wall. It was a dangerous mouse trap like obstacle on the way to the ledge, ready to spring at any moment as you skated past. Death was imminent and certain. I brought the Ryobi out of retirement and we spent some quality time together cutting it down. The world sighs in relief.
Little People, Big World.
Tim Olson – Frontside Salad Grind.
Matt Nordness – Switch Backside Tailslide
Max Murphy – Backside Nosegrind Pop In

Backpack culture.
This Katamari consisting of 70% skateboards came out of my trunk. Everything in there is related to fun skateboarding times. The fun would be less fun if we didn’t have all this crap.

I forgot to somehow incorporate MJ into the beautiful sunset.

Bean plant to fakie tribute.
Hero Majestic, Tomos, Honda.
After a successful scoot skate we were on our way to view the Trollfest fireworks. The Hero Majestic suffered a critical failure, and that was it. Tim and I rode home with tears in our eyes, we had already lost so much that fateful day.
Oh, Daniel-san! You all wet behind ear!

I’m quite certain the real question is: is the Tiger from inside the gatefold cover of Thriller still alive? I asked Google and it didn’t know. I asked ebay and all I found out is people are paying $50-$100 for copies of the Thriller LP. It is highest selling record of all time. Over 100 million copies were sold worldwide. People are not very smart.
Anyway, even though we didn’t know if the tiger is in mourning or not, we soldiered on and spent our night of doing skating paying tribute to MJ. You can view this as captured by Eric’s Polaroid in the post below.
Otherwise here’s some from last Sunday:
This rail has high danger ankle smasher curb on the landing. Tj wasn’t scary and gave ‘er a few frontside boardslides.
I suppose spikey faux medieval fence is even more scary than a little curb you might step on on accident. Matt Nordness – Backside 180.
Max Murphy – Frontside 180.
Matt earned a very special fan while trying this kickflip. “We’re not leaving until you land it!!”, tiara included.
His board sustained much damage during the kickflip crisis. Many HP lost.
Raptor!
Farrah was regular. Micheal was goofy.
Why did Michael Jackson go to K-Mart?

The day started out tight. A perfect balance of grilling and hanging out with some dogs, but things quickly turned somber.
Needless to say, we were ready for a tribute ride as soon as we got wind of the news: The King of Pop had retired to the big Neverland in the sky.

It’s summer finally! Somehow nature has been insistent on it raining every Saturday still, but no bother.
A couple of angles on a Tj noseblunt slide. I remember thinking “Man, this spot would’ve been the best ever if it was 1989!” when we first found this spot a few years ago. Good thing the fickle nature of skateboarding trends have brought 1989 style spots back into vogue and this spot can have its deserved time in the spotlight. I also feel like I’ve probably already used this dumb joke under a different picture taken here.
This reminds me of that god awful tv show “Time Warp”. A solid kick in the balls when you’re expecting a brand new Myth Busters and you have to endure 45 minutes of balloons being popped by yo-yos in super slow motion. Which in turn reminds me of the Lakai video.
I don’t even know how long we were claiming we were going to fix this spot to make it skateable. Many moon, that’s for sure. Some mystery humans took the initiative and it’s truly as fun as I always thought it would be. Thanks anonymous fun bringers! Pat Forster – Frontside Crooked Grind to Fakie.
