Yup, we’re now nine years old. Nine years of dedicated updating with not a single break in the action! We like presents, fyi.

Your guess is as good as mine as to why I was thanked in what may be the longest thank you section in quite possibly the most lengthy skateboarding video in history. We’ll call it the final mystery of 2007. The skating in said video is superb A+++, and the filming and art direction are also very well done. The editing is a little overdramatic, and the music ranges from surprisingly good to “holy jesus, what human being with even a modicum of taste would even consider using this song in a skate video??”. I’ll let you decide which songs fall into each category after you buy this video from your local skateshop and do not download it off the internet.
Locally, everyone in “Millwakee” might want to check out the newly available mkeskate.com “Good Morning Milwaukee” skateboarding video on DVD which should be available now at your friendly neighborhood skateshop. As a nice bonus my video from 2003 “Hurry up and Die” is also on the dvd. It has different edits of Jon Bunch and Lutzka’s parts. Both have a ton of newer and better footage that isn’t in the youtube/premiere version of the video.

God, the updates have been meager. Its cold as balls outside and the only thing that has been heating up is Cream City Skatepark. I guess it’s video game season, and damn does that make you lazy and not want to do shit. When you’re done you are either drunk or burnt. Its pretty fun though. I myself just entered the world of Wii and have been wasting hours and spending money on Wii points. Well, there is a bright future ahead of us. Character Skateboards is coming to town. They are doing a demo at the greatest place ever!
I know that Jackson Hennessey rips.
and so does that dude Mike Owen. It should be a good time, so put down that Guitar Hero and check out the action.

Have you ever noticed when people start slacking on their websites they start every post mentioning how bad they suck at keeping their webpage up to date? Then if you read through the site every post starts with the same pointless apologies. So I won’t do that.
What I will do is post photos from about a month ago from when we went to Louisville. I was out of commission for half of the trip and did not take a single skate photo, nor did I film any skating. Awesome job.
Here’s the lineup. Epic crew. This was taken outside the skatepark in Indianapolis, so I suppose it was the closest I came to taking a skate photo.
These are the dudes that rode in my car. Super exciting.
At the Oasis a whopping one hour into the trip Tim and Mike won some weird ribbed koosh ball type things out of the skill claw. They also had way more dong like ones available, but no one was able to get one of those. I bet they inflated to desired snuggleness. Always a desirable trait.
The Busy Bee came to the rescue. You can always count on the Beez to come through. On the right is our friend we met outside the Hanson show that was going on across the street from our hotel. His name was James and he definitely knew how to party. A great dude for sure.
Let’s face it, anything the man does is and always will be stylish.
This is already a photo from the drive back home. I did a great job covering all the adventures of the trip. Neal did try the Horny Goat Weed at least. He reported some heightened sensitivity. No reports on the effectiveness of the super studded rough and ready.
To finish up the most exciting post in the history of the site, here’s two pictures of Tim in my car.

It was quite the eventful weekend. The weather was almost ideal for ripping. The Minneapolis guys were in town for their annual Cream City visit and even got out to rip the streets. Watching Jamiel skate was a treat and we sampled the new Chubby’s cheesesteak, which totally sucked. Sorry about that stupid suggestion, dudes. Anyway, it was a lot of fun for the limited time I got to spend with everyone. Super bummed I had to miss the Cream City sesh, but I know some things in life are more important than others. I have no doubt I will see those guys again this winter and it will be epic.
Let’s get into a few pictures for those that aren’t hooked on phonics.
Like I said before, watching Jamiel skate was really rad. He did a bunch of super good stuff at Estabrook and other spots as well. You will see when Josh decides to make a new mini video. Here he kickflips into a crooked grind on some butter. On the right, Danny Stemper P.I. prepares to hit the cold city streets to fight crime.
Used and broken condom as seen at Estabrook park. You might be having a shorty if you recognize this. Babies having babies. What is this world coming to?
Today, my old friends Dave Oates and Derek Apel drove to Milwaukee to skate Cream City and stopped by to pick me up. I took them to Estabrook and Dave no complied the pole jam. He lost the kickflip challenge though, which in turn nullified this trick completely. Sorry Dave. Quitters never win.
Elliot McGuire. Your care package is on the way, John. Get stoked.
I would talk about all the awesome videos that are (supposed to be) coming out this fall, but I am bored of it and I am starting to not care about them at all anymore. Too much hype.

So I got to see the MKESKATE video last night and I must say I was surprised. Lots of good moves and a very special Joban vs. Risser section. Those dudes put in some serious time making it and it shows. Nice work guys. The video should be available on DVD soon with some great bonus features from what I hear. Keep on the look out for it.
